5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps carefully to install your TV wall mount.
5.1. Prepare the TV
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Select the appropriate screws from the provided hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes. Ensure the screws are not too long, which could damage internal components.
- Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your television using the selected screws. Ensure they are securely fastened and oriented correctly (usually with the hooks facing upwards).

5.2. Mount the Wall Plate
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the position for the wall plate on the wall.
- Hold the wall plate against the wall at the marked position. Use the integrated spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
- Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Use an appropriate drill bit for your wall type (e.g., concrete, brick, wood stud).
- Insert wall anchors into the drilled holes if required for your wall type.
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided wall mounting screws. Ensure it is firmly attached and level.

5.3. Hang the TV
- With assistance, carefully lift the television.
- Align the TV brackets with the wall plate and gently lower the TV, ensuring the hooks on the TV brackets engage with the wall plate.
- Once the TV is securely hanging, engage the safety locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV brackets to prevent accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating and Adjustments
The Maclean MC-481 mount features a tiltable design, allowing for minor angle adjustments.
6.1. Tilting the TV
- To adjust the tilt angle, carefully loosen the tilt adjustment screws on the TV brackets.

- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
