Setup and Installation
The DAYTECH USR-6 alarm can be easily installed on most refrigerators, freezers, or other doors using either adhesive pads or screws.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the installation surface on the refrigerator or door is clean and dry.
- Attach Adhesive Pads: Peel off the protective film from the double-sided adhesive pads and attach them to the back of the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor.

Operating Instructions
The DAYTECH USR-6 alarm offers customizable settings for alert type, volume, and delay time.
Functional Adjustment:
- Chime/Alarm/OFF Switch: Use the slide switch on the side of the main unit to select between Chime mode (gentle alert), Alarm mode (loud alert), or OFF to disable the alarm.
- Volume Adjustment: The alarm features 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 120dB. Use the volume button to cycle through the levels.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
The DAYTECH USR-6 alarm requires 2 AAA batteries. When the battery is running low, the alarm will emit a shorter beep to indicate that replacement is needed.
- Gently slide the main unit upwards from its mounting plate to detach it.
- Open the battery cover on the back of the main unit.
- Remove the old AAA batteries and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
