3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is critical for your child's safety. Follow these steps carefully.

3.1 Installation Modes by Child Height:

• Rear-Facing (40-105 cm): Mandatory for children up to 15 months. Recommended for as long as possible, up to 105 cm. Use the integrated 5-point harness.
• Forward-Facing (76-105 cm): For children from 76 cm and 15 months old. Use the integrated 5-point harness.
• High-Back Booster (100-150 cm): For children from 100 cm up to 150 cm. The integrated 5-point harness must be removed and stored. Secure the child and car seat using the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt.

3.2 ISOFIX and Support Leg Installation:

1. Place the car seat on the desired vehicle seat.
2. Extend the ISOFIX connectors by pressing the release buttons (refer to Image 4).
3. Align the ISOFIX connectors with the vehicle's ISOFIX anchorage points and push firmly until you hear a distinct 'click' and the indicators turn green. Pull on the car seat to ensure it is securely attached.
4. Extend the support leg until it firmly touches the vehicle's floor. Ensure the indicator on the support leg turns green. The support leg must be fully extended and stable.

3.3 Headrest and Harness Adjustment:

The headrest and harness system adjust simultaneously to accommodate your growing child.

1. To adjust the headrest height, locate the adjustment lever at the top of the headrest (refer to Image 5).
2. Squeeze the lever and slide the headrest up or down until the shoulder straps are at or just below your child's shoulders for rear-facing, or at or just above for forward-facing.
3. Release the lever to lock the headrest in place.

3.4 Recline Adjustment:

The car seat offers multiple recline positions for your child's comfort.

1. Locate the recline adjustment handle, usually at the front or side of the base.
2. Pull the handle and tilt the seat to the desired recline angle (refer to Image 6).
3. Ensure the seat locks securely into the chosen position before placing your child in it.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Securing Your Child (40-105 cm):

1. Rotate the car seat towards the car door using the 360° swivel function (see Image 7).
2. Place your child in the seat.
3. Bring the two buckle tongues together and insert them into the buckle until you hear a 'click'.
4. Pull the harness adjustment strap at the front of the seat to tighten the harness. Ensure it is snug against your child's body, with no more than two fingers fitting between the harness and the child's collarbone.
5. Rotate the car seat back to the correct rear-facing or forward-facing position until it locks securely.

4.2 Securing Your Child (100-150 cm - High-Back Booster Mode):

1. Remove the integrated 5-point harness and store it safely according to the manual's instructions (not detailed here, refer to full product manual).
2. Place your child in the car seat.
3. Route the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt through the designated guides on the car seat and buckle it.
4. Ensure the lap belt is low across your child's hips and the shoulder belt rests across the center of their shoulder and chest, not on their neck.
