1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your AOPEN by Acer 31.5 Inch 4K UHD ZeroFrame Monitor. Please read these instructions thoroughly before operating the device and retain them for future reference. This monitor features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) display, AMD FreeSync technology, HDR 10 support, and AOPEN VisionCare™ for enhanced viewing comfort.

2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the monitor and ensure user safety:
- Do not expose the monitor to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor to prevent overheating.
- Use only the power adapter supplied with the monitor.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the power cord or monitor.
- Disconnect the power cable from the outlet before cleaning.
- Do not attempt to service the monitor yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Setup
4.1. Assembling the Monitor Stand
- Carefully place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor's mounting point. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the stand base to the stand neck, typically by aligning and tightening a screw from the bottom of the base.
- Gently lift the monitor and place it on a stable, flat surface.
4.2. Connecting the Monitor
Connect the monitor to your computer and power source using the provided cables.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input, then plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
- Video Connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable (included) to the HDMI port on your computer and the other end to one of the HDMI 2.0 ports on the monitor. Alternatively, use a DisplayPort 1.2 cable (not included) to connect to the DisplayPort on the monitor for optimal performance.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press the power button, located on the right side bottom of the display, to turn the monitor on or off. A faint blue light indicates the monitor is powered on.
5.2. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the buttons located on the right side bottom of the display to navigate and select options within the OSD menu.
5.3. Display Settings
Adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, and input source through the OSD menu to optimize your viewing experience.
5.4. AMD FreeSync Technology
This monitor supports AMD FreeSync, which synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate. This technology helps eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during fast-paced visuals, providing a smoother gaming and viewing experience. Ensure FreeSync is enabled in your graphics card settings and on the monitor via the OSD menu.

5.5. HDR 10 Support
The monitor supports HDR 10, offering a wider range of colors and contrast for more vivid and realistic images. Ensure your content and graphics card support HDR for this feature to function.
5.6. AOPEN VisionCare™
AOPEN VisionCare™ incorporates several technologies designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. These features include Low Blue Light and Flicker-less technology, promoting a more comfortable viewing experience.

5.7. Tilt Adjustment
The monitor stand allows for ergonomic tilt adjustment from -5° to 15°. Gently adjust the top or bottom edge of the monitor to achieve your desired viewing angle.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Monitor
- Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Wipe the screen gently to remove dust and smudges.
- For the monitor casing, use a soft, dry cloth.
6.2. Storage
If storing the monitor for an extended period, disconnect all cables and pack it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
