The YESYAMO surveillance system consists of the main camera unit and a separate solar panel for power. The camera unit integrates the lens, infrared LEDs for night vision, a spotlight, a microphone, and a speaker for two-way audio. The solar panel connects to the camera to provide continuous power, reducing the need for manual recharging.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the battery status.

5.2 App Download and Account Creation

The YESYAMO camera operates with the CloudEdge mobile application. Download the CloudEdge app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.

5.3 Camera Pairing with App

1. Open the CloudEdge app and tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon.
2. Select your camera model from the list (if prompted).
3. Power on the camera. The camera will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
4. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the camera's intended installation location. Note: This camera does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
5. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens. Hold the phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the camera until you hear a confirmation sound.
6. Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup process.

5.4 Installation and Mounting

Choose a suitable location for your camera and solar panel. For optimal solar charging, the solar panel should receive direct sunlight for several hours a day.

1. Mounting the Camera: Use the provided camera bracket and screws to securely mount the camera to a wall, ceiling, or other stable surface. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. The bracket allows for 360° horizontal and 95° vertical adjustment.
2. Mounting the Solar Panel: Attach the solar panel to its bracket and mount it in a location that maximizes sun exposure. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.
3. Adjusting Angle: Loosen the adjustment screws on the camera and solar panel brackets, position them for optimal coverage and sun exposure, then tighten the screws to secure.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1 Live View and Playback

• Live View: Open the CloudEdge app and select your camera to view the live feed. You can pan/tilt (if applicable to model, though this model is fixed with wide angle) and zoom digitally.
• Playback: Access recorded videos from the app's playback section. Videos are stored on the MicroSD card (if installed) or in cloud storage (subscription may be required).

6.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

• PIR & AI Detection: The camera uses passive infrared (PIR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to detect human motion, minimizing false alarms from pets or swaying branches.
• Sensitivity Settings: Adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app settings to suit your environment.
• Alarm Modes: Configure alarm actions such as activating the built-in spotlight and siren when motion is detected at night.
• Notifications: Enable push notifications in the app to receive instant alerts on your smartphone when motion is detected.

6.3 Two-Way Audio

Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface of the app to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone.

6.4 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions. In intelligent mode, it provides full-color night vision when motion is detected, utilizing its integrated spotlight.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear images and efficient solar charging. Do not use harsh chemicals.
