Safety Information

• Before assembly or moving, always check the dimensions of your doorways and staircases to ensure safe passage.
• The maximum load capacity for the main table surface is 100 kg (220 lbs).
• Each extension element has a maximum load capacity of 20 kg (44 lbs). Do not exceed these limits.
• Ensure the table is placed on a flat, stable surface to prevent wobbling or tipping, minimizing the risk of injury or damage.
• Keep small children and pets away from the table during assembly and extension/retraction operations.

Setup and Assembly

The CATONAV dining table is designed for self-assembly. It comes in two packages. Please ensure all components are present before beginning assembly.

Package Contents:

• Package 1: Tabletop components and main frame parts. (Approx. 173 cm W x 104 cm D x 16 cm H, 56 kg)
• Package 2: Extension leaves and smaller hardware. (Approx. 107 cm W x 36 cm D x 10 cm H, 15 kg)

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts from both packages. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Verify all hardware and parts are accounted for against the included assembly diagram (not provided in this manual).
2. Assemble Base Frame: Attach the metal legs to the central support structure using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
3. Attach Tabletop: Carefully place the main tabletop sections onto the assembled base frame. Secure them using the designated fasteners.
4. Install Extension Mechanism: If the extension mechanism is separate, install it according to the manufacturer's instructions. This typically involves attaching runners or slides to the main tabletop sections.
5. Final Check: Once assembled, gently lift and move the table to its desired location. Ensure it is stable and level. Tighten any loose screws if necessary.

Operating the Extension Mechanism

The CATONAV table features a central extension system with two extension leaves, allowing it to expand from 160 cm to 240 cm in width.

To Extend the Table:

1. Unlock Tabletop: Locate any locking mechanisms under the tabletop that secure the main sections together. Release these locks.
2. Separate Table Halves: Gently pull the two main halves of the tabletop apart. The central extension system will slide open, creating a gap in the middle.
3. Insert Extension Leaves: Take one or both extension leaves. Align the pins or guides on the leaves with the corresponding holes or slots in the table's central mechanism. Carefully lower the leaves into place.
4. Close Table Halves: Push the two main tabletop halves back together until they meet the inserted extension leaves. Ensure there are no gaps and the surfaces are flush.
5. Lock Tabletop: Re-engage any locking mechanisms under the tabletop to secure the extended table.

To Retract the Table:

1. Unlock Tabletop: Release any locking mechanisms.
2. Separate Table Halves: Gently pull the two main halves apart slightly.
3. Remove Extension Leaves: Carefully lift and remove the extension leaves. Store them in a safe place where they will not be damaged.
4. Close Table Halves: Push the two main tabletop halves back together until they meet.
5. Lock Tabletop: Re-engage any locking mechanisms to secure the compact table.

Maintenance and Care
