3. Setup

1. Unpack All Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless-steel inner pot, air fry basket, and reversible cooking rack with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe down the exterior of the main unit and lids with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the Nuwave Duet on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and heat sources, ensuring adequate ventilation.
4. Insert Inner Pot: Place the 6-quart stainless-steel inner pot into the main unit.

Use the Pressure Cooker Lid for this function. The Nuwave Duet employs Dynamic Pressure Control Technology, making over 200 pressure adjustments to maintain continuous boiling, maximizing nutrition and flavor release. It operates at 80kPa max pressure, cooking 70% faster than traditional methods.

1. Add ingredients and liquid to the inner pot.
2. Secure the Pressure Cooker Lid, ensuring it is properly sealed.
3. Select a preset (e.g., Meat/Poultry, Grains, Rice, Steam, Beans) or manually set pressure and time using the dial.

• Air Fry Basket & Rack: The 4 qt. air fry basket and reversible cooking rack are also dishwasher-safe. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm, soapy water before cleaning.
• Lids: The removable lids should be cleaned after each use. The air fryer lid includes a safety shield to prevent food residue from splattering inside, making it easier to wipe clean. The pressure cooker lid has a slot design for easy disassembly and cleaning of the sealing ring and valves.
