3. Package Contents

4. Setup

This vehicle is sold as Ready-to-Run (RTR), however, a LiPo battery and charger are NOT INCLUDED and must be purchased separately. Ensure you have the correct battery and charger before proceeding.

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the vehicle's power switch is in the OFF position.
2. Open the battery compartment.
3. Insert a compatible LiPo battery (2S, 3S, or 4S) into the battery tray, ensuring it fits within the maximum dimensions (L: 163mm / 6.42in, W: 51mm / 2.01in, H: 48mm / 1.89in).
4. Secure the battery using the provided straps or clips.
5. Connect the battery to the ESC. Refer to the ESC manual for specific connection details.
6. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.2 Transmitter Setup

1. Install the four AA batteries into the transmitter.
2. Turn on the transmitter.
3. Turn on the vehicle's power switch. The transmitter and receiver should automatically bind. If not, refer to the detailed manual for binding instructions.

5. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all components are securely fastened and the battery is fully charged. Always operate the vehicle in a safe, open area, away from people, pets, and obstacles.

5.1 Basic Controls

• Throttle Trigger: Pull to accelerate forward, push to brake/reverse.
• Steering Wheel: Turn left or right to steer the vehicle.
• Trim Adjustments: Use the trim dials on the transmitter to fine-tune steering and throttle neutral positions if the vehicle does not track straight or stops when the trigger is released.

5.2 Driving Tips

• Start with slow speeds to familiarize yourself with the controls.
• Avoid sudden, sharp turns at high speeds to prevent rollovers.
• The 4S LiPo-capable system provides significant power; manage throttle input carefully, especially on loose surfaces.
• The vehicle is designed for outdoor use on dirt, sand, and other off-road terrains.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ARRMA Mojave truck. Perform these checks after every run or periodically.

6.1 Post-Run Checks

• Clean the Vehicle: Remove dirt, dust, and debris from the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain using a soft brush or compressed air. The wishbone dirt guards and chassis dirt drain assist in keeping components clean.
• Inspect for Damage: Check for any broken or loose parts, especially on the suspension, steering linkages, and wheels.
• Check Fasteners: Ensure all screws and nuts are tight.
• Examine Tires: Check for wear, tears, or punctures.
• Battery Care: Disconnect and properly store LiPo batteries after use. Never leave them fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.
