Front Panel Indicators:

4. Setup
4.1 Inserting the SIM Card
- Ensure the DWR-930M is powered off.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the device.
- Carefully insert your standard-sized 4G LTE SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down.
- Close the SIM card slot cover securely.
4.2 Charging the Device
- Connect the Micro-USB charging cable to the Micro-USB port on the DWR-930M.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.
4.3 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicators light up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicators turn off.
4.4 Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Power on the DWR-930M.
- On your Wi-Fi enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the network name (SSID) of your DWR-930M. The default SSID and Wi-Fi password are usually found on a label inside the battery compartment or on the device itself.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
- Alternatively, you can use WPS for a quick connection if your device supports it. Press the WPS button on the DWR-930M, then activate WPS on your client device within two minutes.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Accessing the Web Interface
To manage advanced settings, access the web-based management interface:
- Connect your device to the DWR-930M's Wi-Fi network.
- Open a web browser and enter the default IP address (e.g.,
192.168.0.1or192.168.1.1) into the address bar. Refer to the device label or Quick Install Guide for the exact IP address. - Enter the default username and password (usually
adminfor both). - You can now configure settings such as Wi-Fi name, password, security, and more.
5.2 Changing Wi-Fi Settings
Within the web interface, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings section to:
- Change the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID).
- Update the Wi-Fi Password (WPA/WPA2-PSK key).
- Adjust security settings.
- Enable or disable Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
5.3 Managing Connected Devices
The web interface typically provides a list of currently connected devices. You can monitor their connection status and, in some cases, manage their access.
6. Maintenance
- Regular Charging: To maintain battery health, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the D-Link support website for firmware updates. Updating the firmware can improve performance, add new features, and enhance security.
