1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Craftmade Eos 52" Ceiling Fan with LED Lights. Please read thoroughly before beginning installation to ensure safe and proper use of the product. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Important Safety Information
Always disconnect power at the main fuse box or circuit breaker before beginning installation, cleaning, or making any repairs. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or serious injury.
All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes. If you are unsure about wiring procedures, consult a qualified electrician.
Ensure the ceiling structure is capable of supporting the weight of the fan (approximately 17.2 pounds) and that the outlet box used for mounting is specifically listed for ceiling fan support.
This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

4.1. Pre-Installation Steps
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify all parts using the package contents list.
4.2. Mounting the Fan

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Fan Speed Control
The fan is equipped with a standard pull chain for speed control. Pull the chain once to turn the fan on at high speed. Subsequent pulls will cycle through medium speed, low speed, and off.
- Pull 1: High Speed
- Pull 2: Medium Speed
- Pull 3: Low Speed
- Pull 4: Off
5.2. Reversible Motor Function
The fan features a reversible motor for year-round comfort. A switch on the motor housing allows you to change the direction of blade rotation.
- Warm Weather (Counter-clockwise rotation): Set the switch to the position that causes the blades to rotate counter-clockwise. This creates a downward airflow, producing a cooling breeze.
- Cool Weather (Clockwise rotation): Set the switch to the position that causes the blades to rotate clockwise. This creates an upward airflow, circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling without creating a direct draft.
Always turn off the fan and wait for the blades to stop completely before changing the direction of rotation.
5.3. LED Light Operation
The integrated LED light kit is controlled by a separate pull chain. Pull the chain to turn the lights on or off. The LED bulbs are dimmable, and brightness can be adjusted by holding the pull chain (if supported by the light kit's dimmer function, refer to specific light kit instructions).
5.4. Optional Remote Control
Optional remote controls are available and sold separately for convenient operation. If you purchase a remote control, refer to its specific manual for pairing and usage instructions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and performance of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades and motor housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
- Tightening Fasteners: Check all connections and screws periodically (at least twice a year) to ensure they remain secure. Loose connections can cause noise or wobbling.
- Lubrication: The fan motor is permanently lubricated and does not require additional oiling.
- Light Bulbs: Replace LED bulbs only with the specified type (4 x 4W 3000 CCT Dimmable LED) to ensure proper function and dimming capabilities.
7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your ceiling fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
7.1. Fan Does Not Operate
- No Power: Check that power is supplied to the fan at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Loose Connections: Ensure all wire connections are secure within the canopy and switch housing.
- Pull Chain Position: Verify the fan pull chain is in the "on" position.
7.2. Fan Wobbles
- Loose Blades/Arms: Check that all blade screws and blade arm screws are tightened.
- Unbalanced Blades: Ensure blades are balanced. A blade balancing kit (often sold separately) can be used to correct wobbling.
- Loose Mounting: Verify the mounting bracket is securely fastened to the ceiling joist or outlet box.
- Downrod Issues: Ensure the downrod is properly seated and secured in the mounting bracket and motor housing.
7.3. Lights Do Not Work
- Bulb Issues: Check if the LED bulbs are properly screwed in or if they need replacement.
- Light Kit Wiring: Ensure the wiring connections to the light kit are secure.
- Pull Chain Position: Verify the light pull chain is in the "on" position.
