Setup

Operating Instructions

The JATA JECL1900 offers three distinct functions controlled by a single button.

Filling Guidelines

Observe the MAX/MIN markings inside the carafe for optimal results and to prevent overflow.

• For frothing milk (hot or cold): Do not exceed the lower 'MAX' line (approx. 150 ml). Ensure the frothing whisk is in place.
• For heating milk or chocolate (without frothing): Do not exceed the upper 'MAX' line (approx. 300 ml). Remove the frothing whisk if you do not want foam.

Function Selection

1. Prepare: Pour the desired amount of milk into the carafe, observing the fill lines. Place the lid on the carafe.
2. Hot Froth / Hot Milk:
   • Press the control button once.
   • The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the appliance is operating.
   • The appliance will heat and froth (if whisk is installed) the milk to approximately 65°C.
   • Once complete, the indicator light will flash and then turn off.
3. Cold Froth:
   • Press the control button twice in quick succession.
   • The indicator light will illuminate.

4. Turn Off:

3. Carafe Interior: The non-stick interior of the carafe can be cleaned with water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse the carafe in water.
4. Frothing Whisk: Remove the frothing whisk and wash it under running water with a little dish soap.
5. Lid: Wash the lid with water and dish soap.
6. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the carafe and the rotating base with a slightly damp cloth. Never rinse the exterior or immerse the base unit in water.
