4. Setup Guide

4.1. Charging the Walkie Talkies

Before first use, fully charge all walkie talkies. Use the provided Type-C charging cables and a standard USB power adapter (not included).

1. Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the charging port on the walkie talkie.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a USB power adapter or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator on the walkie talkie will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
4. A full charge provides up to 48 hours of working time and 7 days of standby time.

4.2. Power On/Off

To power on or off the walkie talkie, press and hold the Power/Menu button for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates or turns off.

4.3. Setting Channels and Sub-codes

For communication, all walkie talkies must be set to the same channel and sub-code.

1. Press the Menu button once to enter channel selection mode. The channel number will flash.
2. Use the Up or Down buttons to select your desired channel (1-22).
3. Press the Menu button again to enter sub-code (CTCSS/DCS) selection mode. The sub-code will flash.
4. Use the Up or Down buttons to select your desired sub-code (0-99). Setting to 0 disables the sub-code.
5. Press the Menu button a third time or wait a few seconds for the settings to be saved.

5.1. Basic Communication (Push-to-Talk)

1. Ensure all walkie talkies are on the same channel and sub-code.
2. To transmit, press and hold the Talk button (usually on the side). Speak clearly into the microphone.
3. Release the Talk button to listen for a response.

5.2. VOX Hands-free Function

The VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) function allows you to transmit without pressing the Talk button. When VOX is enabled, the walkie talkie will automatically transmit when it detects your voice.

1. Press the Menu button multiple times until the VOX icon appears on the LCD screen.
2. Use the Up or Down buttons to select the VOX sensitivity level (e.g., 1-3, with 3 being most sensitive). Select 0 to turn VOX off.
3. Press the Talk button or wait for the setting to save.

5.3. Flashlight and SOS Sirens

• Flashlight: Press the LAMP button to turn the flashlight on or off.
