1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery chamber cover located at the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert the supplied rechargeable Li-ion battery into the chamber, ensuring correct orientation.
3. Close the battery chamber cover until it clicks securely.

3.2 Attaching the Lens

1. Remove the body cap from the camera body and the rear lens cap from the lens.
2. Align the mounting mark on the lens with the mounting mark on the camera body.
3. Rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.

3.3 Initial Settings

Upon first power-on, you will be prompted to set the date, time, and time zone. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete these settings.

4.1 Basic Photography

The Nikon Z 30 offers various shooting modes to suit different situations. Use the mode dial on the top of the camera to select your desired mode.

• Auto Mode: For simple point-and-shoot operation, the camera automatically optimizes settings.

• Shutter-Priority Auto (S): You set shutter speed, camera sets aperture. Ideal for controlling motion.
• Aperture-Priority Auto (A): You set aperture, camera sets shutter speed. Ideal for controlling depth of field.
• Manual (M): You control both shutter speed and aperture for complete creative freedom.

5. Maintenance
