2. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and Initial Preparation

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the slicer.
  2. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not operate if damaged.

Placement

4. Operating Instructions

Power Connection

Loading Food

  2. Use the fixtures board locking knob to firmly secure the food item in place, preventing sliding during slicing.

Adjusting Slice Thickness

  1. Locate the thickness adjustment knob on the side of the slicer.
  2. Rotate the knob to set the desired slice thickness between 0 and 14 mm. Turn towards 'Thin' for thinner slices and 'Thick' for thicker slices.

Slicing Operation

  1. Ensure the blade guard is in place.
  2. Press the 'ON' button for the blade cutting switch to start the blade rotation.
  3. Press the 'ON' button for the meat pushing plate switch to activate the automatic feeding mechanism.
  4. The slicer will automatically feed the food item and produce slices at the set thickness.
  5. To stop slicing, press the 'STOP' button or the emergency stop button.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your slicer. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Cleaning

  • Hand Wash Only: All removable parts that come into contact with food should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
  • Wipe down the main body of the slicer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the motor unit in water.
  • Exercise extreme caution when cleaning around the blade. Use a brush or a thick cloth to avoid direct contact with the sharp edge.

Blade Sharpening

The slicer is equipped with a built-in sharpener to maintain blade sharpness.

  1. Ensure the slicer is unplugged.
  2. Locate the built-in sharpener.
  3. Place the sharpener in contact with the edge of the blade.
