Setup

Charging the Device:

Before first use, fully charge the UGREEN Bluetooth adapter. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the device's USB-C port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Operating Modes

The UGREEN adapter features a TX/RX switch to select between Transmitter and Receiver modes. Ensure the device is in the correct mode for your intended use.

1. Transmitter Mode (TX)

In TX mode, the adapter transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth device to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers. This is ideal for airplane entertainment systems, TVs, or gym equipment.

  1. Slide the switch to the TX position. The indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Plug the 3.5mm audio jack into the audio output port of your non-Bluetooth device (e.g., airplane seat audio jack, TV headphone jack).
  3. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
  4. The adapter will automatically search for and connect to your Bluetooth device. Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid.
  5. Dual Pairing: To connect a second pair of Bluetooth headphones/speakers, put the second device into pairing mode. Press the multi-function button on the UGREEN adapter once. The adapter will search and connect to the second device.

2. Receiver Mode (RX)

In RX mode, the adapter receives audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and plays it through a wired audio system (e.g., car stereo, home amplifier, wired headphones).

  1. Slide the switch to the RX position. The indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Plug the 3.5mm audio jack into the audio input port of your wired audio system (e.g., AUX-in port of a car stereo, input on an amplifier).
  3. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for "UGREEN-XXXX" (where XXXX is a unique identifier). Select the device to pair.
  4. Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the wired system.
  5. Microphone Use: In RX mode, the built-in microphone is active, allowing for hands-free calls when connected to a smartphone.
