5. Setup and Installation
The Olafus flood light is designed for straightforward plug-in installation. Follow these steps:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable outdoor location for mounting the flood light. Ensure there is a readily accessible power outlet within 4.92 feet (1.5m) of the mounting point.
- Mounting the Base (Step 1): Position the flood light's base against the desired mounting surface. Mark the positions for drilling. Drill pilot holes and insert the expansion rubber plugs if mounting into masonry or drywall. Secure the base using the provided machine screws.
- Connect Power (Step 2): Once the light is securely mounted, plug the power cord into a compatible outdoor electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected from direct weather exposure or use an appropriate weatherproof cover.
- Adjust Light Heads: Loosen the adjustment screws on each light head, position them to achieve the desired illumination area, and then tighten the screws to secure them.

6. Operation
The Olafus 100W LED Flood Light operates via a standard electrical switch. It does not feature a built-in motion sensor or dusk-to-dawn functionality.
- Power On/Off: Use the wall switch connected to the electrical outlet to turn the flood light on or off.
- Adjusting Light Heads: The five light heads can be manually adjusted to direct light precisely where needed. Gently loosen the pivot screws, adjust the angle of each head (up to 335° horizontally and 90° vertically), and then securely tighten the screws.

7. Maintenance
