Setup

1. Compatibility Check

The YEBOS Stylus Pen is exclusively compatible with iPad models released between 2018 and 2024. Please verify your iPad model number against the list below to ensure compatibility:

2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the stylus pen. Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging port on the pen and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 50 minutes and provides up to 14 hours of continuous use.

3. Power On and Connection

Press the power button on the stylus to turn it on. The stylus will automatically connect to your compatible iPad. No Bluetooth pairing is required for basic functionality. For advanced features like signal adjustment and customizable shortcuts, ensure your iPad's Bluetooth is enabled and the stylus is connected.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Usage: Writing and Drawing

Simply touch the stylus nib to your iPad screen to begin writing or drawing. The pen is designed for smooth and precise input, mimicking the feel of a traditional pen on paper.

2. Palm Rejection and Tilt Sensitivity

The stylus features advanced palm rejection technology, allowing you to rest your hand naturally on the iPad screen without interfering with your writing or drawing. Tilt sensitivity enables you to vary line thickness by tilting the stylus, providing a more natural and expressive creative experience.

3. Signal-Adjustable Nib

The YEBOS Stylus Pen features a unique signal-adjustable nib. This allows you to fine-tune the signal strength through the Yebos Note app, optimizing connectivity and preventing disconnections, especially when using different screen protectors. You can also customize nib types within the app.

4. Customizable Shortcut Buttons

The stylus is equipped with two customizable shortcut buttons, offering 22 different options for personalized functionality. These buttons can be configured via the Yebos Note app to enhance your productivity. Examples include quick access to undo, erase, next page, or screenshot functions.

5. Magnetic Attachment

For convenience, the YEBOS Stylus Pen can magnetically attach to the side of compatible iPad models. This feature helps prevent loss and keeps the pen readily accessible. Note that not all iPad models support magnetic adsorption.

Maintenance

1. Charging

To maintain optimal battery life, charge the stylus regularly. The pen features a power display to indicate the current battery level. Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.

2. Nib Replacement

The stylus comes with three extra replacement nibs. If the pen tip becomes worn or damaged, it can be easily replaced. Gently twist and pull the old nib to remove it, then push the new nib firmly into place until it clicks.

Troubleshooting

1. Signal Disconnection Issues

If you experience frequent disconnections or inconsistent performance, consider the following common causes:

• Worn Pen Tip: A pen tip that has been used for a long time may become worn, affecting signal transmission. Replace the nib if necessary.
• Non-Original Nib: Using a non-original replacement nib might lead to signal issues. Ensure you use YEBOS-approved nibs.
• Thick Screen Protector: A tempered glass cover that is too thick can block signal reception.
• Paper-like Film: The addition of a paper-like film on your screen can weaken the signal.

The T5X stylus can often resolve these issues through its signal conditioning feature within the Yebos Note app. Adjust the signal strength as demonstrated in the "Signal-Adjustable Nib" section.

2. Pen Not Responding

• Ensure the stylus is charged.
• Confirm your iPad model is compatible.
