3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

1. Drone Battery: Insert the modular drone battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place. To charge, remove the battery and connect it to the USB charging cable. Connect the USB cable to a 5V/1A USB adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show charging status.
2. Remote Controller Batteries: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote controller. Insert 2 LR44 batteries (included) according to the polarity markings. Close the battery cover.

3.2 Propeller Guard Installation

Attach the propeller guards to the drone's arms to protect the propellers during flight, especially for beginners.

3.3 App Connection (SIMREX Zoomy)

1. Download the "SIMREX Zoomy" app from your device's app store.
2. Power on the drone.
3. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "SIMREX-XXXX").
4. Open the "SIMREX Zoomy" app. You should see the live FPV feed from the drone's camera.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Flight Controls

• One-Key Takeoff/Landing: Press the dedicated button for automatic takeoff or landing.
• Altitude Hold: The drone can maintain a fixed altitude, allowing for stable hovering. This feature is enabled by optical flow positioning.
• Headless Mode: In this mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, making it easier to control without needing to know the drone's front direction.

4.2 Camera Operation

The SIMREX X300C is equipped with a 720P HD FPV camera. Connect to the "SIMREX Zoomy" app via Wi-Fi to view live footage and capture photos or videos directly to your smartphone.

• Always operate the drone in open areas, away from people, animals, and obstacles.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the drone with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid using water or solvents.
• Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage. Replace any bent or broken propellers with spare parts.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge. If not used for an extended period, charge them to about 50% capacity.
