1. Introduction

The YoloLiv YoloBox Ultra is a state-of-the-art, all-in-one live streaming device designed for content creators, broadcasters, and professionals. It integrates the functions of a video switcher, monitor, encoder, and recorder into a single portable unit. With advanced features like 4K live broadcasting, NDI and SRT support, and cellular bonding, the YoloBox Ultra ensures high-quality, stable, and versatile live productions for various platforms.

2. Key Features

• Streaming Flexibility: Offers Live Streaming Mode for up to three horizontal destinations and Vertical Streaming Mode for two vertical destinations. Simultaneous streaming in both modes is not supported.
• 4K Live Broadcasting: A 4K HD device that functions as a switcher, monitor, encoder, and recorder, supporting 4G LTE, WiFi, Ethernet, and dual 4G Dongles. Ideal for events like sports, weddings, and church.
• NDI and SRT Integration: Enhance your stream with improved quality, reduced latency, and remote production capabilities via NDI and SRT. (Additional charges may apply for full activation).
• Cellular Bonding: Combine up to 5 network connections (2x USB Modems, 1x 4G LTE, 1x Wi-Fi, 1x Ethernet) to ensure uninterrupted streaming, even in challenging conditions. (Additional charges may apply).
• ISO Recordings: Capture and save all video inputs separately with customizable resolution, frame rate, and bitrate, enabling better post-production control and quality.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Power On

1. Ensure the YoloBox Ultra is fully charged or connected to a power source using the provided USB-C cable.
2. Press and hold the power button located on the top right side of the device until the screen illuminates.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including language selection and network configuration.

3.2 Network Connection

The YoloBox Ultra supports multiple network connection methods for stable streaming:

• Wi-Fi: Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Wi-Fi' and select your desired network. Enter the password if prompted.
• Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network switch to the Ethernet port on the YoloBox Ultra.
• 4G LTE (SIM Card): Insert a compatible 4G SIM card into the SIM card slot. Ensure your data plan is active.
• USB Modems: Connect up to two compatible USB modems to the USB-A ports for additional cellular bonding capabilities.

3.3 Connecting Inputs

The YoloBox Ultra offers versatile input options:

• HDMI Inputs: Connect up to four HDMI sources (cameras, laptops, game consoles) to the HDMI IN ports (HDMI IN I, II, III, IV).
• USB Inputs: Connect USB cameras or other USB devices to the USB-A ports.
• Audio Inputs: Use the 3.5mm Line In or Mic In for external audio sources.
• HDMI Output: Connect an external monitor to the HDMI OUT port to view your program output.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live Streaming Modes

The YoloBox Ultra supports both horizontal and vertical streaming to cater to different platform requirements:

• Horizontal Streaming Mode: Ideal for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Supports streaming to up to three destinations simultaneously.
• Vertical Streaming Mode: Perfect for mobile-first platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Supports streaming to two vertical destinations.

4.2 4K Live Broadcasting

4.3 NDI and SRT Integration

The YoloBox Ultra supports Network Device Interface (NDI) and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocols. NDI allows for high-quality, low-latency video transmission over standard IP networks, simplifying multi-camera setups without extensive cabling. SRT ensures secure and reliable video delivery over unpredictable networks, reducing latency and packet loss.

4.4 Cellular Bonding

For maximum reliability, the YoloBox Ultra features cellular bonding, allowing you to combine bandwidth from multiple network sources (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G LTE, USB Modems). This creates a more robust and stable connection, minimizing drops and ensuring continuous streaming even in areas with fluctuating network conditions.

4.5 ISO Recordings

The ISO recording feature allows you to record each video input source independently, in addition to the main program output. This provides immense flexibility for post-production, enabling you to re-edit, color grade, or create new content from individual camera feeds without affecting your live stream.

• No Signal on Input: Ensure HDMI cables are securely connected and that the source device is powered on and outputting video. Verify the correct input is selected on the YoloBox Ultra.

• Audio Problems: Verify audio input levels in the audio mixer. Ensure external microphones or audio sources are properly connected and powered.
• Device Unresponsive: Perform a soft reset by holding the power button until the device shuts down, then restart it.
