Setup and Installation

Ensure Compatibility: Verify that you have a LinkTap G2S or G2 Water Timer. The Micro Flow Meter is not compatible with the LinkTap G1S water timer.
Prepare Timer: Disconnect your LinkTap G2S or G2 Water Timer from the water source if it is already installed.
Attach Flow Meter: Screw the LinkTap Micro Flow Meter onto the outlet of your LinkTap G2S or G2 Water Timer. Ensure a snug, watertight connection.
Connect Drip System: Attach your drip irrigation system or other low-flow water application to the outlet of the Micro Flow Meter.
Reconnect Water: Reconnect your LinkTap Water Timer to the water source.
Verify Connection: Ensure the small black cable from the flow meter is securely plugged into the designated port on the LinkTap G2S or G2 Water Timer.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the LinkTap Micro Flow Meter automatically begins measuring water flow when your LinkTap G2S or G2 Water Timer activates. The flow data is transmitted wirelessly to your LinkTap app.

Accessing Flow Data: Open the LinkTap app on your smartphone or tablet. Navigate to the specific water timer connected to the flow meter.
Real-time Monitoring: The app will display real-time flow rates (GPM/LPM) during active watering sessions.
Historical Data: Review historical watering data, including total duration, volume of water used, and flow rates over time. This data helps in understanding water consumption patterns and optimizing irrigation schedules.
Alerts: The app can provide alerts for unusual flow patterns, such as very low flow (indicating a blockage) or very high flow (indicating a leak), helping you identify and address issues promptly.

Maintenance

The LinkTap Micro Flow Meter is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance:

Troubleshooting
