3.2. Platter and Belt Installation
- Carefully place the aluminum platter onto the center spindle of the turntable.
- Locate the drive belt. Gently stretch the belt around the inner rim of the platter and hook it onto the motor pulley.
- Place the felt mat on top of the platter.
3.3. Headshell and Cartridge Installation
The moving magnet cartridge is pre-installed on the headshell. To attach the headshell to the tonearm:

3.4. Counterweight and Tracking Force Adjustment
The counterweight balances the tonearm and sets the tracking force. Refer to your cartridge's specifications for the recommended tracking force (typically 1.5g to 2.5g for moving magnet cartridges).
- Gently slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm.
- Unlock the tonearm from its rest.
- Adjust the counterweight by rotating it until the tonearm floats horizontally and is balanced.
- Once balanced, hold the counterweight steady and rotate the numbered ring to '0'.
- Rotate the entire counterweight (including the numbered ring) counter-clockwise to the recommended tracking force for your cartridge.
3.5. Anti-Skating Adjustment
Anti-skating compensates for the inward force on the stylus as the record spins. Set the anti-skating dial to the same value as your tracking force.
3.6. Dust Cover Installation
Attach the two hinges to the dust cover. Then, align the hinges with the slots on the rear of the turntable and insert them to secure the dust cover.
