4. Setup
4.1 Component Overview

4.2 Assembly
- Install the Platter and Drive Belt: Place the aluminum platter onto the spindle. Carefully loop the drive belt around the motor pulley and the inner rim of the platter.
- Place the Felt Mat: Position the felt mat on top of the aluminum platter.
- Install the Headshell: Attach the pre-installed headshell with cartridge to the tonearm. Secure it by rotating the locking ring.
- Balance the Tonearm: Adjust the counterweight at the rear of the tonearm until the tonearm floats horizontally. Then, set the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's specifications (typically 1.5-2.5 grams for the pre-installed cartridge).
- Install the Dust Cover: Insert the dust cover hinges into the slots at the rear of the turntable.

4.3 Connections
The JBL Spinner BT offers both wired and wireless connectivity options.

- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC 12V input on the rear panel and then to a wall outlet.
- Analog Output (Wired): For wired connection to an amplifier or active speakers, connect the RCA audio cable to the AUDIO OUTPUT L/R jacks on the rear panel. Ensure the PRE AMP switch is set correctly:
- ON: Use if your amplifier or active speakers do not have a dedicated phono input.
- OFF: Use if your amplifier has a dedicated phono input.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Use the POWER ON/OFF switch located on the rear panel to turn the turntable on or off.
5.2 Speed Selection
Press the 33.3 or 45 RPM button on the front left of the plinth to select the appropriate playback speed for your record.
5.3 Playing a Record
- Place a record on the felt mat.
- Select the correct speed (33.3 or 45 RPM).
- Unlock the tonearm clip.
- Lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
- Manually position the tonearm over the desired track on the record.
- Lower the tonearm gently using the cueing lever. The platter will begin to spin automatically.
- At the end of the record, the platter will stop spinning automatically if the AUTO STOP switch on the rear panel is set to ON. Manually return the tonearm to its rest and secure it with the clip.

5.4 Bluetooth Pairing
The JBL Spinner BT features Bluetooth with AptX-HD for high-quality wireless audio streaming to compatible speakers or headphones.
- Ensure your Bluetooth speaker or headphones are in pairing mode.
- Press and hold the BLUETOOTH PAIRING button on the rear panel of the turntable. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
- Once connected, the indicator light will remain solid.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the turntable cabinet and dust cover with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Gently clean the stylus (needle) with a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front.
6.2 Cartridge Replacement
The headshell is removable, allowing for easy cartridge replacement or upgrade. When replacing the cartridge, ensure proper alignment and tracking force adjustment as per the new cartridge's specifications.
