1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing

Upon unboxing your LOFREE Flow84 keyboard, you will find the keyboard unit and a USB Cable. Ensure all components are present before proceeding with setup.

3.2 Connectivity

The LOFREE Flow84 supports both Bluetooth and USB-C wired connections.

• Bluetooth Connection: To connect via Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode (refer to the keyboard's physical switch or indicator). Activate Bluetooth on your device (Laptop, PC, Tablet) and select 'LOFREE Flow84' from the list of available devices to pair.
• Wired Connection: Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

3.3 System Compatibility

The keyboard is compatible with Windows and Mac OS. Use the following function key combinations to trigger system-specific functions:

• Fn + N: Triggers corresponding system function keys for Windows/Android.
• Fn + M: Triggers corresponding system function keys for Mac/iOS.

4. Operating the Keyboard

4.1 Key Functions and Hotkeys

The LOFREE Flow84 includes dedicated hotkeys and media keys for convenient control. Refer to the keycap legends for specific functions, often accessed using the 'Fn' key in combination with the F-row keys (F1-F12) or other designated keys.

• Backlighting Control: Adjust the RGB sidelit and white backlit effects using designated Fn key combinations (e.g., Fn + F1/F2 for brightness, Fn + F3/F4 for lighting modes).
• Media Control: Control media playback (play/pause, next/previous track, volume) using Fn key combinations with the media keys.

4.2 Hot-Swappable Switches

The hot-swappable design allows you to easily replace the mechanical switches without soldering. To replace a switch:

1. Gently pull the keycap off the switch using a keycap puller.
2. Use a switch puller to carefully remove the switch from the PCB.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Reattach the keycap.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the keyboard's appearance and functionality, regularly clean it. Use a soft, lint-free cloth for the aluminum body. For keycaps, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air or a small brush.

5.2 Battery Care

The keyboard is equipped with a Lithium Polymer battery. To prolong battery life:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable or a compatible charger.

6. Troubleshooting

• Connectivity Issues: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. For Bluetooth, try re-pairing the device. For wired, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your device.
• Keys Not Responding: Check if the keyboard is powered on. If individual keys are not responding, ensure the switch is properly seated. If hot-swapping, try re-inserting the switch or testing with a known working switch.
