Setup and Initial Adjustment

  1. Adjust Interpupillary Distance: Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them. Adjust the distance between the two barrels until you see a single, clear circular field of view.
  2. Adjust Eyecups:
    • For users without glasses, twist the eyecups up to the fully extended position.
    • For users with glasses, twist the eyecups down to the retracted position to ensure a full field of view.
  3. Initial Focusing:
    • Close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece. Rotate the central focus wheel until the image is sharp.
    • Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the right eyepiece focus ring (diopter adjustment) until the image is sharp.
    • Now, with both eyes open, use only the central focus wheel to adjust focus for different distances. The diopter setting should remain constant unless your eyesight changes significantly.
