2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting. Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Overheating and Boil-Dry Protection: The kettle is equipped with dual safety features, including overheating protection and boil-dry protection technology. The appliance will automatically shut off if the temperature exceeds the selected value or if there is no water inside.
• Hot Surfaces: The exterior of the kettle may become hot during use. Always use the handle and avoid touching hot surfaces directly. Use caution when opening the lid to avoid steam burns.

5. Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Fill the kettle with water to the MAX level, boil it, then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
4. Connecting Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The INALSA MultiCook Nu kettle offers three distinct operating modes:

1. Filling the Kettle:
   • Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water or food.
   • Do not exceed the MAX fill line (1.5 litres) to prevent overflow.
   • Ensure the lid is securely closed before operation.
2. Selecting a Mode:
   • Place the kettle onto the power base.
   • Rotate the control knob to select one of the following modes:
     • BOILING: For rapid heating of water, milk, or cooking items like noodles and pasta. The kettle will heat until boiling point and then automatically shut off due to boil-dry protection if left unattended after boiling.
     • HEATING: For general heating purposes, such as warming milk or preparing soup.
     • KEEP WARM: To maintain the temperature of your food or beverage after heating.
   • The power indicator light will illuminate when the kettle is operating.
3. Using the Egg Boiling Rack:
   • Place the egg boiling rack inside the kettle.
   • Carefully place eggs into the designated slots on the rack.
   • Add water to cover the eggs.
   • Select the "BOILING" mode.
4. Switching Off:
   • To turn off the kettle, rotate the control knob to the "OFF" position.
   • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
