Setup
1. Transmitter Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the Spektrum Smart DX3PM Transmitter.
- Install 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Motorcycle Battery Installation
- Place the motorcycle on the included bike stand for stability.
- Access the battery compartment on the motorcycle (refer to the detailed diagram in the separate product manual for exact location).
- Connect your charged LiPo battery to the motorcycle's ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) connector.
- Secure the battery within the compartment and close the cover.

3. Binding the Transmitter and Receiver
Your Promoto-MX is typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary, follow these general steps:
- Ensure both the transmitter and motorcycle are powered off.
- Insert the bind plug into the BIND port on the receiver (located inside the motorcycle's chassis).
- Power on the motorcycle. The receiver LED should flash.
- While holding the BIND button on the transmitter, power on the transmitter.
- Release the BIND button on the transmitter once the receiver LED becomes solid.
- Power off both the motorcycle and transmitter, then remove the bind plug.
- Power on the transmitter first, then the motorcycle, to confirm successful binding.
