5.2. General Installation Steps (Applies to both methods)
- Mark Position: Choose the desired location for your shelf. Use a level and pencil to mark the positions for the bracket holes on the wall. Ensure the marks are level and spaced correctly for the chosen shelf size.
- Drill Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type and the provided wall anchors, drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Insert Anchors: Gently tap the wall anchors into the drilled holes with a hammer until they are flush with the wall surface.
- Attach Brackets: Align the brackets with the wall anchors and secure them to the wall using the provided screws and a screwdriver. Ensure they are firmly attached.
- Mount Shelf:
- For Floating Installation: Place the wooden shelf onto the brackets, ensuring the brackets fit into the pre-drilled slots on the underside of the shelf. Secure the shelf to the brackets using the smaller screws provided, from the underside.
- For Standard Installation: Place the wooden shelf on top of the installed brackets. Secure the shelf to the brackets using the smaller screws provided, drilling through the pre-drilled holes on the top surface of the brackets into the underside of the shelf.
- Verify Stability: Gently test the shelf's stability before placing items on it.
