This section addresses common issues you might encounter with the ANCEL MT510.

6.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Device Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the 12V charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
    • Verify the power adapter and cable are securely connected and functional.

    • Confirm the diagnostic cable (M037 for Ducati) is correctly and securely connected to both the MT510 and the motorcycle's diagnostic port.
    • Ensure the motorcycle's ignition is turned ON.
    • Verify that the correct motorcycle model and year are selected in the MT510 software.
  • Software Not Responding / Freezing:
    • Restart the device.
    • Ensure the software is up to date. Perform a "One-click Update" if available.
    • If the issue persists, contact customer support for assistance.
  • Error Code P1607 (Data Buffer - Unreasonable Signal):
    • This indicates the memory area is full and a 'data buffer reset' function needs to be performed.
    • It is recommended to carefully check the components of the injection system first, as data saturation can be a symptom of faulty connections with injection system components.
