2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions before operating the device. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Power Source: Connect the unit only to an AC power outlet of the specified voltage.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not block ventilation openings. Avoid placing the unit on soft surfaces that may obstruct airflow.

4. Setup
4.1 Placement
Place the Maestro on a stable, flat surface with sufficient space around it for proper ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat sources.
4.2 Connecting Speakers
Connect your passive speakers to the speaker terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black) for optimal sound. The Maestro supports speakers with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms.
4.3 Antenna Connections
- Wi-Fi Antenna: Screw the provided Wi-Fi antenna into the 'Wi-Fi Antenna' connector on the rear panel.
- FM/DAB+ Antenna: Connect the FM/DAB+ antenna to the 'DAB/FM ANTENNA' input. Extend the antenna for better reception.
4.4 Connecting External Devices
The Maestro offers a variety of input options:
- Optical Input (TV): Use an optical cable to connect devices like a TV or game console to the 'OPTICAL IN' port.
- AUX Inputs: Connect analog audio sources using RCA cables to 'AUX1' or 'AUX2' inputs.
- Phono Input (MM): For turntables with a Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge, connect to the 'PHONO IN (MM)' ports. Ensure the turntable's ground wire is connected to the 'GND' terminal.
- USB: Connect a USB storage device for media playback to the 'USB' port.
- Network (LAN): For a stable internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the 'LAN' port.

4.5 Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the 'AC MAINS' inlet on the rear panel and then to a wall outlet. Ensure the main power switch on the rear is in the 'ON' position.
4.6 Initial Power-On and Room Correction
Press the power button on the front panel or remote control to turn on the unit. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup, including network configuration. Utilize the MAESTRO room correction application for individualized sound optimization based on your room acoustics.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the STANDBY button on the front panel or remote control to switch the unit between standby and operational mode. The main power switch on the rear should remain 'ON' for standby functionality.
5.2 Source Selection
Use the dedicated source buttons on the front panel (CD, FM, DAB, AUX, DIGITAL, PHONO) or the remote control to select your desired audio source. For Internet Radio and streaming services, navigate through the menu using the control knob and display.

5.3 CD Playback
Insert a CD into the disc slot. The unit will automatically switch to CD mode and begin playback. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip, Stop) on the front panel or remote.
5.4 Radio Tuning (FM/DAB+)
Select FM or DAB+ mode. Use the navigation controls to scan for stations or tune manually. Save your favorite stations as presets for quick access.
5.5 Bluetooth Pairing
Select Bluetooth as the source. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select 'Sonoro Maestro'. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly.
5.6 Internet Radio and Streaming Services
Ensure the Maestro is connected to your network (Wi-Fi or LAN). Navigate through the menu to access Internet Radio stations or integrated streaming services like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in to your accounts.
5.7 Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the large rotary knob on the front panel or the volume buttons on the remote control.
5.8 Remote Control and App Control
The included remote control provides full functionality. For enhanced control, download the 'Undok' app on your smartphone or tablet to manage sources, playlists, and settings.
