Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the DC input jack on the back of the alarm clock radio. Plug the other end into a standard AC 110V-120V wall outlet. The display will light up, indicating power is connected.

2. Battery Backup Installation

For battery backup functionality, which preserves time and alarm settings during a power outage, install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The display will dim after 20 seconds if no operation is performed while on battery power.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the CLOCK SET button located on the top panel until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Press the HOU button repeatedly to adjust the hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator.
  3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to adjust the minute.
  4. Press the CLOCK SET button again to confirm the time and exit time setting mode.

2. Setting the Alarm

  1. Press and hold the ALARM SET button until the alarm hour digits flash.
  2. Press the HOU button to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
  4. Press the ALARM SET button again to select the alarm source: BEEP (default tone) or RADIO (last tuned radio station).
  5. Press the ALARM SET button one more time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
  6. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM ON/OFF button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.

3. Radio Operation (AM/FM)

  1. Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn the radio on.
  2. Press the AM/FM button to switch between AM and FM bands.
  3. Press the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency. Hold the button to auto-scan for the next available station.
  4. Adjust the volume using the VOL + or VOL - buttons.
  5. To turn off the radio, press the RADIO ON/OFF button again.

4. Display Dimmer and Color Adjustment

  1. Press the COLOR/DIMMER button to cycle through the available display colors: Green, Red, Blue.
  2. Continue pressing the COLOR/DIMMER button to adjust the brightness level. There are 4 brightness levels for each color.

5. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the unit. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again. This can be repeated multiple times.

6. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period. To activate, press the SLEEP button (if available, or refer to specific button for sleep timer). Repeatedly press to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 minutes). The radio will play for the selected duration and then turn off.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your alarm clock radio, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
