Figure 4: System Dimensions and Installation Guide

  1. Prepare the Wall: Create the necessary opening in the wall for the shower valve body according to the dimensions provided in Figure 4. Ensure proper support for the ceiling-mounted shower arm.
  2. Install the Shower Valve Body: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the external straight threaded pipes on the shower valve body (NPT 1/2"). Ensure secure, leak-free connections. The hot water connector is typically on the left, and cold on the right, but verify markings on the valve.
  3. Connect Shower Outlets: Connect the fixed shower head outlet (NPT 1/2") and handheld shower head outlet (NPT 1/2") to their respective plumbing lines.
  4. Install Shower Arm: Secure the shower arm to the ceiling connection. Attach the 12-inch rain shower head to the shower arm. The fixed place of the shower top spray can be rotated 360 degrees for optimal positioning.
  5. Install Handheld Shower Components: Mount the handshower holder to the wall. Connect the shower hose to the handheld shower and the corresponding outlet on the valve body.
  6. Install Control Panel and Handle: Attach the shower control panel and the shower valve knob and handle to the valve body.
  7. Test for Leaks: Turn on the main water supply and carefully check all connections for leaks.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Water Flow and Temperature Control

The single handle on the control panel manages both water temperature and flow. Rotate the handle to adjust the temperature from cold to hot. Lift the handle to increase water flow.

4.2 Diverter Function

The diverter knob on the control panel allows you to switch between the rain shower head and the handheld shower, or use both simultaneously. Rotate the knob to select your desired water outlet.

4.3 Air Pressurization Technology

Figure 5: Air Pressurization System

The rain shower head utilizes air pressurization to mix air with water, resulting in a stronger spray and a more natural rainfall sensation. This technology also contributes to a more consistent water temperature.

4.4 Handheld Shower Use

The handheld shower provides a focused spray for targeted cleaning. Its ergonomic design ensures comfortable use. The spray range is optimized for effective rinsing.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Shower Head Nozzles: The 304 stainless steel rain shower head features silicone nozzles. Mineral deposits can be easily removed by gently wiping the nozzles with your finger or a soft cloth.
  • Finish: To maintain the matte black finish, clean surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
  • General Cleaning: Regularly clean all components to prevent buildup and ensure optimal performance.

5.2 Check Valve Adjustment

The built-in check valves allow for adjustment of water pressure. Use a screwdriver to adjust the valve:

  • Rotate counter-clockwise to increase water pressure.
  • Rotate clockwise to decrease water pressure.
  • The default setting is maximum water pressure. Adjusting to the minimum water pressure can effectively turn off the flow through that valve.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your shower system.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Low Water PressureCheck valves are set too low; mineral buildup in nozzles; insufficient main water supply.Adjust check valves counter-clockwise (Section 5.2); clean silicone nozzles (Section 5.1); verify main water pressure.
Leaking ConnectionsLoose connections; damaged seals.Tighten all connections; replace any damaged seals or O-rings.
Water Not Diverting CorrectlyDiverter mechanism obstruction or malfunction.Ensure diverter knob is fully engaged in desired position. If issue persists, contact customer support.
Inconsistent Water TemperatureThermostatic valve issue; hot/cold water supply imbalance.Verify hot and cold water supply lines are correctly connected. If problem persists, consult a professional plumber.
