Setup

Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the hidden charging port and plug it into any USB-A power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, car charger). The device will not operate while charging.

Assembling the Aspirator:

Steps to assemble the nasal aspirator
  1. Insert the anti-reflux cover (small grey ring) into the transparent mucus collection cup.
  2. Attach the chosen silicone tip firmly onto the top of the mucus collection cup.
  3. Screw the assembled mucus collection cup with the silicone tip onto the main body of the aspirator.

Choosing the Right Silicone Tip:

  • Gourd-shaped tip: Suitable for sucking shallow nasal mucus (recommended for 0-2 years).
  • Funnel-shaped tip: Suitable for sucking deep mucus (recommended for 2+ years).
  • Slanted Funnel Tip: Suitable for sucking the deepest mucus (recommended for 2+ years).

Operation

Follow these steps for effective and comfortable use of your Bivni Baby Nasal Aspirator:

  1. Prepare: Ensure the device is fully charged and the appropriate silicone tip is securely attached.
  2. Turn On: Long press the Power button () for a few seconds to turn on the aspirator. The LED screen will illuminate.
  3. Select Suction Level: Press the Suction Level button () to cycle through the 3 suction modes: SP-1 (Gentle), SP-2 (Moderate), SP-3 (Strong). Choose the level suitable for your baby's needs.
  4. Optional Functions:
    • Light: Press the Light button (💡) to change the color of the soothing light. Long press to turn the light on/off.
    • Music: Press the Music button (🎵) to play comforting melodies. Long press to adjust the volume or turn music on/off.
  5. Position: Gently insert the chosen silicone tip into your baby's nostril, ensuring a snug fit to prevent air leakage. Remember to keep the storage tank upright.
  6. Aspirate: Allow the aspirator to draw out the mucus. For stubborn or thick mucus, pre-treat with a saline spray and wait one minute before aspiration.
  7. Turn Off: After use, long press the Power button () to turn off the device.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your Bivni Baby Nasal Aspirator. The device is IPX7 waterproof, allowing for easy and thorough cleaning.

After Each Use:

  • Remove the silicone tip and the transparent mucus collection cup from the main body.
  • Rinse these three pieces (silicone tip, mucus collection cup, and anti-reflux cover) thoroughly under running water.
  • Use the provided cleaning brush to clean the inside of the silicone tips and the mucus collection cup.
  • If mucus gets inside the main machine body, remove the nasal reservoir. Then, use a cup or sink to draw water into the device and run it for about 1 to 3 minutes to flush the inside. Drain the water from the drain hole to flush out any remaining mucus.
  • Dry all components completely before reassembling or storing.

Important Cleaning Note:

Please clean the mucus storage tank in a timely manner. If mucus is sucked into the machine, turn on the machine and let it run for 3 minutes with its head in water to flush the inside. Then, clean the machine inhalation port with cotton and dry the machine in an upright position before using it again.

Troubleshooting
