Setup
1. Charging Dock Placement

2. Initial Charging
Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a wall outlet. Place the robotic vacuum cleaner onto the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. Allow the unit to fully charge before first use. The indicator light on the robot will change to indicate a full charge.
3. Installing Side Brushes
Turn the robot over. Align the side brushes with the corresponding posts on the underside of the robot and press them firmly until they click into place. Ensure the left (L) and right (R) brushes are installed correctly.

Cleaning Modes
The Alphabot Max offers various cleaning modes to suit different needs:
- Auto Cleaning: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans the entire floor area.
- Spot Cleaning: Concentrates cleaning on a specific dirty area.
- Edge Cleaning: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
- Scheduled Cleaning: Set specific times for the robot to start cleaning automatically via the Smart Life app.

Mopping Function
To use the mopping function, fill the water tank (if separate) with clean water and attach the mopping cloth. Insert the mopping module into the designated slot on the robot. The robot will then vacuum and mop simultaneously or sequentially, depending on the selected mode. Only use water or manufacturer-approved cleaning solutions in the water tank.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robotic vacuum cleaner.
1. Emptying the Dustbin
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle or when the 'dustbin full' indicator (if available) illuminates. Press the release button to remove the dustbin, open it, and discard the collected debris.
2. Cleaning the Filters
The Alphabot Max uses a 3-stage filtration system, including a HEPA filter. Tap the HEPA filter gently to remove dust. Rinse the pre-filter and sponge filter with water. Allow all filters to air dry completely before reinserting them. Replace the HEPA filter every 3-6 months, or as needed, depending on usage.
3. Cleaning Side Brushes and Main Brush
Regularly check and clean the side brushes and main brush for tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove any wrapped hair. Replace worn or damaged brushes.
4. Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the cliff sensors, wall sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a clean, dry cloth. This ensures proper navigation and charging.
5. Mopping Cloth Maintenance
Remove and wash the mopping cloth after each use. It can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle. Air dry completely before reattaching.
