Product Overview

The AFU CD35 is a versatile portable CD player designed for a wide range of audio experiences. • Anti-skip & Compact Design: Built-in anti-skip protection provides stable audio (40 seconds for CDs, 90 seconds for MP3s). Its compact size (5.75*5.75*1.32 inches) makes it highly portable, and anti-shock protection ensures stable playback even in a bumpy car.

• A-B Repeat & Sleep Function: Features A-B repeat for looping specific audio sections, ideal for learning. The sleep timer mode allows setting auto-off times from 10-90 minutes.

Setup

Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the AFU CD35 using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the USB port on the side of the player and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The battery indicator on the LCD screen will show charging status.

Inserting a CD

To insert a CD, locate the 'OPEN' switch on the side of the player and slide it to open the CD compartment. Place the CD with the label side facing up onto the spindle, ensuring it clicks into place. Close the CD compartment firmly until it latches.

Operating Instructions

CD Playback

After inserting a CD and closing the lid, the player will read the disc. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to navigate between tracks. Adjust volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. Press the FUN. button repeatedly until 'USB' mode is displayed on the LCD screen. The player will automatically start playing music from the USB drive.

Bluetooth Playback (Receiver Mode)

Press the FUN. button repeatedly until 'BLUE' mode is displayed. The player is now in Bluetooth receiver mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone or other device and select 'CD35' from the list of available devices to pair. Once connected, you can play music from your phone through the CD player's speakers.

FM Transmitter Function

When a CD is playing, press the FM button once to enter FM transmit mode. The frequency will flash. Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to adjust the FM frequency. Press the FM button a second time to confirm the transmission. Tune your car radio or FM receiver to the same frequency to hear the CD audio.

A-B Repeat Function

During CD playback, press the A-B button at the beginning of the desired section (point A). Press it again at the end of the section (point B). The player will continuously loop this section. Press the A-B button a third time to exit A-B repeat mode.

Sleep Function

Press the SLEEP button to activate the sleep timer. Each press cycles through preset auto-off times (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 minutes). The player will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

Troubleshooting

CD Player Not Playing

• Ensure the CD compartment door is closed tightly.
• Clean the laser head and CD player interior from dust and dirt using a special cleaning disc or cotton swab.
• Check the CD for scratches, stains, or deformation. Use a clean, undamaged disc.
• If the laser head is poorly focused, try adjusting it manually or use a cleaning disc.
• If issues persist, internal parts may be damaged. Contact a professional repairer.

Bluetooth Not Working

• Note: This device does not support connecting to car Bluetooth directly.
• Turn off or disable other Bluetooth devices nearby to reduce interference.
• Adjust the distance between the CD player and the Bluetooth device, bringing them closer to increase signal strength.
• Reboot the speaker or remove/disconnect the power cord for a minute to restart the device before connecting to Bluetooth.
• Clear the paired device memory of the speaker and try pairing again.
• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the CD player and the device you are trying to connect.

Device Not Charging

• The charging interface of the player may be loose or damaged. Try cleaning or replacing it.
• The charging cable may be damaged or have poor contact. Replace the charging cable.
• Check if the charging port is cluttered or blocked. Ensure it's not dusty or damaged. Clean or replace the port if necessary.
