Setup

Charging the Device:

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the device.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the port and a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging. A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours.

Attaching Accessories:

To attach the hook or magnet, carefully screw off the protective head around the camera lens. Then, screw on the desired accessory. Ensure it is securely fastened before use.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • Press and hold the power button (orange button) to turn the device on. The screen will display "DEPSTECH" and then show the live camera feed.
  • To turn off, press and hold the power button again until "BYE!" appears on the screen.

Adjusting LED Lights:

The endoscope features 8 adjustable LED lights. Press the light button (orange button with light icon) to cycle through different brightness levels or turn the lights off completely. This helps optimize visibility in various lighting conditions.

Using the Zoom Function:

Press the zoom-in button (magnifying glass with plus sign) to magnify the image 1.5X or 2.0X. Press the zoom-out button (magnifying glass with minus sign) to return to the original view.

Performing an Inspection:

  1. Ensure the device is charged and any necessary accessories are attached.
  2. Turn on the endoscope.
  3. Carefully insert the semi-rigid cable into the area you wish to inspect. The cable's flexibility allows it to maintain its shape for maneuverability.
  4. Observe the live feed on the 2.4-inch IPS screen. Adjust the LED lights and zoom as needed for optimal viewing.
  5. Use the hook or magnet accessory to retrieve objects if required.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

  • If the device is unresponsive, locate the reset button (small pinhole next to the USB-C port) and gently press it with a thin object (e.g., paperclip) to reset the device.

Poor Image Quality:

  • Clean the camera lens.
  • Adjust the LED light brightness to suit the environment.
  • Ensure the camera is within the optimal focal range (3-10 cm).
