1. Introduction

This appliance is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from the air, creating a more comfortable and healthier environment in your home, basement, bedroom, bathroom, or other suitable spaces up to approximately 20 m² (50 m³). 2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your dehumidifier, follow these basic safety precautions:

• Read all instructions before using this appliance.
• This appliance must be properly grounded. Always plug into a grounded outlet.
• Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged power cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• Do not place the dehumidifier near heat sources or open flames.
• Ensure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance around the unit.
• Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlet or outlet.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films.
3. Inspect the unit for any damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Placement

• Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface that is strong enough to support the unit with a full water tank.
• Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper air circulation. Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
• For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.
• Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat-generating appliances.
• The unit is equipped with 360° universal wheels for easy relocation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

5.2 Button Functions

• Power Button (ON/OFF): Press to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
• Speed Button (SPEED): Toggles between Low and High fan speeds.
• Setting Button (SETTING): Press to adjust the desired humidity level (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on/off to maintain it.
• Timer Button (TIMER): Sets the auto-on or auto-off time (up to 24 hours). Press repeatedly to select the desired duration.

5.3 Indicators

• Defrost Indicator (DEFROST): Illuminates when the unit is in automatic defrost mode.
• Full Indicator (FULL): Illuminates and an alarm sounds when the water tank is full or incorrectly installed. The unit will stop operating.
• Timer Indicator (TIMER): Illuminates when the timer function is active.
• Digital Display: Shows the current humidity level or the set timer duration.

6. Water Removal

The COLAZE dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

6.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

• When the water tank is full, the 'FULL' indicator will light up, an alarm will beep for 20 seconds, and the unit will automatically stop operating.
• Carefully pull out the water tank from the rear of the unit.
• Empty the collected water.
• Slide the empty water tank back into its position until it clicks securely. The unit will resume operation.

6.2 Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can use the included drain hose:

• Locate the continuous drain port at the rear of the dehumidifier.
• Remove the rubber stopper from the drain port.
• Connect one end of the provided 1-meter drain hose to the drain port. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
• Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain, such as a floor drain or a large container. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain the water. Do not allow the hose to kink or be elevated above the drain port.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
2. Remove the air filter from the rear of the unit.
3. Wash the filter with clean water (not hotter than 40°C / 104°F) and a mild detergent.
4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight or use a dryer.
5. Reinstall the dry filter into the unit.

7.2 Cleaning the Exterior

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

7.3 Storage

• If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean.
• Clean the air filter.
• Cover the unit with a plastic bag to protect it from dust.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
