Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your HOIGY HYBF-06H-G Vessel Sink Faucet. Setup and Installation

This faucet is designed for easy DIY installation, typically completed in 2 steps within 5 minutes, without requiring a plumber or extra tools. It is compatible ONLY with 1-hole vessel sinks or above-counter basins. The mounting basin hole size should be 1.06" - 1.5" in diameter, and the counter thickness up to 2".

1. Faucet Installation

Before starting, ensure all pre-installed water hoses are tightened. If not, tighten them clockwise. Unscrew the metal nut from the screw, then tighten the short thread of the screw to the faucet. Place the rubber O-ring under the faucet.

Step 1: Insert the faucet into the basin hole. Ensure the handle is closed during this step.

Step 2: From underneath the counter, place the metal gasket through the screw, then thread the metal nut onto the screw. Use the provided wrench to tighten the metal nut securely. Avoid overtightening.

2. Pop-Up Drain Installation

The included PP food-grade material pop-up drain can be installed on drain holes with a diameter of 1.6" - 1.9" and a thickness of 1.2" - 2.4".

After installing the faucet and drain, open the hot and cold water valves to flush out any sewage before connecting the supply hoses to the faucet. Connect the pre-installed supply hoses to the correct angle valves. Ensure connections are hand-tight, then use a wrench for a final snug turn, avoiding excessive force to prevent damage.

Operating Instructions

The HOIGY HYBF-06H-G faucet features a single lever handle for easy control of water flow and temperature.

• Water Flow: Lift the handle upwards to increase water flow. Push it downwards to decrease or stop the flow.
• Temperature Control: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. The single handle allows for precise mixing to achieve your desired temperature.
• The extra-wide, half-open spout creates a gentle waterfall effect, reducing noise and splashing.
• A built-in pressure reducer helps save water without compromising performance.

Maintenance

Proper care and cleaning will ensure the longevity and appearance of your HOIGY faucet.

• Cleaning: The faucet's upgraded finish is corrosion-resistant, rust-resistant, and fingerprint-resistant. Clean the surface 2 to 3 times a week. Use only water and dry with a soft cloth.
• Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use acidic detergents, abrasive cleaners, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Pop-Up Drain: The pop-up drain features an anti-clogging design. Periodically remove the stopper and clean any accumulated debris to maintain optimal drainage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your faucet, refer to the following common solutions:

• Low Water Flow: Check if the water supply valves are fully open. Inspect the aerator (3-layer metal filter) in the spout for any debris or mineral buildup and clean if necessary.
• Leaks: Ensure all connections, especially the supply hoses and the mounting nut, are securely tightened. Do not overtighten. If leaks persist, check the rubber O-rings and gaskets for proper seating or damage. The built-in ceramic cartridge is designed for over 500,000 anti-leakage operations.
• Water Temperature Issues: Verify that both hot and cold water supply lines are connected correctly to the angle valves.
• Drain Clogging: Remove the pop-up drain stopper and clear any hair or debris that may have accumulated.
