Setup

1. Placement & Power:

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it is positioned at an appropriate distance from the projection surface (wall or screen) to achieve your desired screen size (40" to 300"). Connect the power cord to the projector and a power outlet.

2. Initial Power On & Focus:

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn it on. The projector features auto-focus and auto-6D-keystone correction, which will automatically adjust the image for clarity and shape. You can also fine-tune the focus using the manual focus knob on top of the projector.

3. Connectivity:

The GROVIEW C58 offers multiple connectivity options:

• HDMI: Connect your laptop, TV stick, gaming console (PS5, Switch), or DVD player using the provided HDMI cable. The projector has two HDMI ports.
• USB: Plug in a USB disk to play movies, music, or view photos directly.
• AV: Use the AV cable for older devices.
• Ethernet (RJ45): For a stable internet connection, hardline the projector using an Ethernet cable.
• WiFi 6: Navigate to the "WiFi Setting" in the projector's menu to connect to your home network (supports 2.4G and 5G).
• Bluetooth 5.2: Go to "BT Setting" to wirelessly connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for enhanced audio. Note: Bluetooth supports audio devices, not smartphone screen mirroring.

Operating

1. Navigation:

Use the remote control to navigate the projector's interface. The main home screen provides access to Movie, Music, Photo, Setting, Support, and Miracast options.

2. Input Source Selection:

On the left side of the home screen, select your desired input source (AV, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Miracast) based on the device you have connected.

3. Screen Mirroring:

For screen mirroring from your smartphone or tablet, select "Miracast" from the home screen. Choose "Android Cast" or "iOS Cast" and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your device via WiFi Display Technology.

4. Image & Audio Adjustments:

Access "Projection Image Setting" in the settings menu to adjust projection mode, auto-focus, automatic trapezoid, and obstacle avoidance. Use the volume knobs on the projector or remote for audio control.

Maintenance

The GROVIEW C58 features a real full-sealed dust-proof system (IP5X), which significantly reduces the need for internal cleaning. To maintain optimal performance:

• Lens Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the projector lens when necessary. Avoid abrasive materials.
• General Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the projector clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
• Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation grilles on the sides of the projector are not obstructed to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, try the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Image/Signal:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected and the projector is turned on.
  • Verify the correct input source (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV) is selected.
  • Check the connection cables (HDMI, AV) for damage or loose connections.
• Blurry Image:
  • Allow the auto-focus to recalibrate by slightly moving the projector.
  • Manually adjust the focus using the knob on top of the projector.
  • Ensure the projection surface is flat and the projector is stable.
• No Audio:
  • Check the projector's volume level.
  • If using external speakers, ensure they are properly connected via Bluetooth or audio cable.
  • Verify the audio output settings on your connected device.
• Screen Mirroring Issues:
  • Ensure both the projector and your device are connected to the same WiFi network.
  • Restart both the projector and your mirroring device.
