Safety Precautions
- Always operate the drone in open areas, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
- Do not fly near airports or restricted airspace.
- Ensure batteries are fully charged before each flight.
- Do not touch the propellers when they are spinning.
- Avoid flying in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
- Supervise children when they are operating the drone.
- Read and understand all local regulations regarding drone operation.
Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Drone Battery: Insert the modular battery into the designated slot on the drone until it clicks into place.
- Remote Controller Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote controller and insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Charging: Connect the drone battery to the USB charging cable and plug it into a 5V/2A USB adapter. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 60-90 minutes per battery.
2. Propeller Installation
The F407 drone comes with pre-installed propellers. If replacement is needed:
- Identify propellers marked 'A' and 'B'.
- Match the 'A' propellers to the 'A' motor arms and 'B' propellers to the 'B' motor arms.
- Secure each propeller with the provided screws using the screwdriver.
3. Unfolding the Drone
Gently unfold the drone arms until they lock into position. Ensure all four arms are fully extended before flight.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On and Pairing
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Press and hold the power button on the drone until the indicator lights flash.
- Turn on the remote controller. The remote will automatically pair with the drone. A solid light on both devices indicates successful pairing.
2. Calibration
After pairing, perform gyroscope calibration:
- Push both joysticks on the remote controller down and to the right simultaneously.
- The drone lights will flash rapidly and then turn solid, indicating successful calibration.
3. Take-off and Landing
- One-Key Take-off: Press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button (H icon) on the remote. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
- Manual Take-off: Push both joysticks down and outwards to start the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick (throttle) upwards to ascend.
- One-Key Landing: Press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button (H icon) again. The drone will automatically descend and land.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards until the drone lands. Once landed, pull both joysticks down and inwards to stop the motors.

4. Flight Controls
- Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw): Up/Down for altitude, Left/Right for rotation (yaw).
- Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll): Up/Down for forward/backward movement (pitch), Left/Right for left/right movement (roll).
5. Special Features
- 360° Obstacle Avoidance: The drone features an infrared obstacle avoidance system. When activated, it can detect obstacles within two meters and automatically evade them. This is particularly useful for indoor flight.
- 4K HD Camera: The integrated 4K camera offers 90° electric adjustment for varied shooting angles.
- Optical Flow Positioning: This system helps the drone maintain a stable hover by precisely fixing its height and position, ideal for beginners and stable photography.
- Headless Mode: In this mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, making it easier to control for beginners.
- 3D Flip: Execute aerial stunts with a single button press.
- Speed Modes: Adjust flight speed (3 modes) to suit your skill level and environment.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote controller. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the spare parts provided.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries. If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the drone arms and store it in its original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drone does not respond to remote. | Not paired; low battery on drone or remote. | Re-pair drone and remote; charge batteries. |
