1. Introduction and Overview

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of your HAIBOXING 2197 RC Drift Car. This 1/18 scale electric-powered 4WD RC rally car features a gyroscopic anti-skid system, proportional steering and throttle, and a 2.4GHz remote control for high-speed performance up to 28 KM/H. 3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Charge the Li-Po Batteries: Use the provided USB charging cable to fully charge both 7.4V, 850mAh Li-Po batteries. Ensure the battery is placed on a non-flammable surface during charging and never leave charging batteries unattended.
  2. Install Car Battery: Carefully open the battery compartment on the RC car. Connect one fully charged Li-Po battery to the car's power connector. Secure the battery within the compartment and close it.
  3. Install Transmitter Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the 2.4GHz remote control. Insert two AA size batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment.

3.2 Initial Checks

  • Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Verify that the car body is properly attached with the body clips.
  • Inspect the wheels and tires for any obstructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Transmitter Overview

  • Power ON/OFF Switch: Turns the transmitter on or off.
  • Steering Wheel: Controls the direction of the car (left/right).
  • Trigger: Controls forward/reverse movement and speed. Pull for forward, push for reverse/brake.
  • Steering Trim: Adjusts the neutral steering position if the car pulls to one side when the steering wheel is centered.
  • Steering Reverse Switch: Reverses the steering direction.
  • Slow/Fast Speed Switch: Toggles between two speed modes for different skill levels or environments.

4.2 Powering On and Pairing

  1. Turn on the RC car first.

4.3 Driving and Drifting

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Care

  • Keep the car clean from dirt, dust, and moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure both the car and transmitter batteries are fully charged and correctly installed. Check that all power switches are in the 'ON' position.
