Setup and Assembly
Assembly is recommended for two people. A screwdriver is recommended for assembly, as not all tools may be included or optimally sized.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, protected surface to prevent damage.
- Attach Legs: The main tabletop sections typically come with pre-assembled gliding rails. Attach the four hairpin legs to the designated mounting points on the underside of the tabletop. Ensure the legs are oriented correctly and tighten all screws firmly.
- Prepare for Leaf Insertion (if applicable): If the table is initially assembled without the leaf, ensure the two main tabletop sections are pulled apart to reveal the extension mechanism.
- Insert Extension Leaf: Carefully place the removable leaf into the gap between the two main tabletop sections. Align the leaf with the gliding rails and gently push the main tabletop sections together until the leaf is securely in place.
- Secure Leaf: Engage the simple latches located on the underside of the table to secure the leaf and prevent movement.

Maintenance
Proper care will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your dining table.
- Cleaning: Wipe the table surface with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the wood finish.
- Protection: As the table is made of solid pine wood, it can be prone to dents and scratches. Use placemats, coasters, and tablecloths to protect the surface from spills, heat, and impacts.
- Humidity: Maintain a consistent humidity level in your home to prevent wood from cracking or warping.
- Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration of the wood.
- Hardware: Periodically check and tighten all assembly hardware to ensure stability.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your dining table, refer to the following common solutions:
- Tabletop Scratches or Dents: The solid pine wood can be soft. Minor scratches may be buffed out with wood repair kits. For deeper dents, professional repair may be necessary. Always use protective coverings during use.
- Tabletop Cracking or Warping: This can be caused by extreme changes in temperature or humidity. Ensure the table is kept in a stable environment. Small cracks may be cosmetic; larger cracks might require professional assessment.
- Leaf Not Aligning Properly:
- Ensure the gliding rails are clean and free of debris.
- Verify that the leaf is inserted correctly and fully seated in the mechanism.
- Check if the latches are properly engaged.
- Loose Legs or Instability: Re-tighten all screws connecting the legs to the tabletop. If instability persists, disassemble and reassemble the legs, ensuring all connections are firm.
- Difficulty with Assembly Tools: If the provided Allen wrench does not fit properly or is difficult to use, a standard screwdriver or a higher quality Allen wrench of the correct size may be needed.
