1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup

Placement

• Choose a location with a firm, level floor that can support the freezer when fully loaded.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the freezer. Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on the sides and back, and 12 inches (30 cm) at the top for proper air circulation.
• Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., stove, heater) as this will increase energy consumption.
• This compact freezer is suitable for various indoor environments, including kitchens, offices, dorms, and garages.

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the freezer with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.

Power Connection

After placing and cleaning the freezer, wait at least 24 hours before plugging it into the power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to stabilize, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.

4. Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The freezer features a 7-grade adjustable thermostat control. The temperature range is approximately 10.2°F to -11.4°F (-12.1°C to -24.1°C).

• Turn the dial to adjust the temperature.
• Setting '1' is the warmest (refrigeration point), and '7' is the coldest setting.
• To turn off the cooling system, set the dial to '0' (OFF).
• The power (red) and run (green) indicator lights on the control panel show the operational status.

Loading the Freezer

For optimal performance and energy efficiency:

• Do not overload the freezer. Allow space for air circulation around items.
• Use the removable storage basket for frequently accessed or smaller items.
• Ensure food items are properly sealed to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

• Always unplug the freezer before cleaning.
• Clean the interior regularly with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean the condenser coils at the back of the freezer periodically (every 6-12 months) using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure efficient operation.

Defrosting

Defrost the freezer when the frost layer on the interior walls reaches about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick. Excessive frost buildup reduces cooling efficiency.

1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
2. Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
3. Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the freezer to allow water to drain. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath to collect the water.
4. Leave the lid open to allow the frost to melt naturally. You can speed up the process by placing bowls of hot water inside (do not use sharp objects to remove ice).
5. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before plugging the freezer back in and returning food items.
