Setup

Physical Installation

Stand Installation: Attach the two TV stand legs to the bottom of the television using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened to provide stable support.

Wall Mounting: For wall mounting, the TV supports a VESA Wall Mount Standard of 400 x 300 mm. Consult a professional for wall mounting to ensure proper and safe installation.

Connecting Devices

The Fire TV Omni QLED Series offers multiple ports for connecting external devices:

  • HDMI Ports: 3 HDMI 2.0 ports and 1 HDMI 2.1 port with eARC for high-definition audio and video connections.
  • Ethernet: 1 Ethernet port for a wired internet connection.
  • USB: 1 USB 2.0 port for connecting USB devices.
  • Digital Optical Audio Output: 1 Digital Optical Audio Port for connecting to external audio systems.

Initial Power On and Network Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the TV and a power outlet.
  2. Press the power button on the remote or TV.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and connect to a network. You can choose between Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection.
  4. Sign in with your Amazon account to access Fire TV features.
  5. The TV will check for and install any available software updates. It is recommended to allow all updates to complete for optimal performance.

Operating the TV

Basic Controls

Use the included Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote to navigate the interface, adjust volume, change inputs, and power the TV on or off. The remote can also control certain functions of compatible IR-enabled devices, soundbars, and A/V receivers.

Fire TV Interface

The Fire TV OS provides access to a wide range of streaming services, apps, and content. Navigate using the remote's directional pad and select buttons. You can download additional apps from the Appstore.

Hands-free Alexa

The TV features built-in microphones for hands-free Alexa control. Simply say "Alexa" followed by your command to turn on the TV, find content, launch apps, or control smart home devices without needing the remote. A physical switch is available to electronically disconnect the microphones for privacy.

Fire TV Ambient Experience

The Fire TV Ambient Experience transforms your TV into a dynamic display when not actively watching content. It can showcase over a thousand pieces of free artwork, personal photos, and helpful Alexa widgets (e.g., weather, calendar, smart home controls).

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the TV body, use a soft, dry cloth.

Software Updates

Ensure your Fire TV is always running the latest software. The TV will automatically check for and download updates when connected to the internet. Regularly check for updates in the device settings to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.

Troubleshooting

General Issues and Solutions
