3.2 Initial Configuration (if necessary)

Even if your micro SIM card is compatible with the hotspot device, it may not be plug-and-play. You might need to perform the following steps:

  • Disable SIM PIN Code: Before inserting the SIM card into the hotspot, it is recommended to disable any PIN code protection on the SIM card using a mobile phone.
  • Modify APN Settings: If the device does not connect to the internet automatically, you may need to modify the Access Point Name (APN) settings.
    1. Connect the hotspot to a computer via the USB cable.
    2. The computer should automatically install necessary drivers/software.
    3. Open the installed software or access the device's web interface (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in a web browser).
    4. Locate the APN settings.
    5. Contact your SIM card provider (operator) to obtain the correct APN details for your specific plan.
    6. Enter the correct APN details into the hotspot's settings and save.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the front or side) for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the indicator lights turn off.

4.2 Connecting Devices

  1. Ensure the mobile hotspot is powered on.
  2. On your Wi-Fi enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Select the network name (SSID) corresponding to your Luqeeg Mobile Hotspot. The SSID and password are typically found on a sticker inside the battery compartment or on the device packaging.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.

5.2 General Care

  • Keep the device dry and away from extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Wireless Network Connection After SIM Card Insertion

If you are experiencing issues with wireless network connectivity, consider the following:

  • SIM Card Activation/Traffic: Ensure your SIM card is activated and has an active data plan. A card without traffic will not transmit data.
  • Correct SIM Card Slot: Verify that the SIM card is inserted into the correct SIM card slot, not a memory card slot.
  • Frequency Band Compatibility: Check if the frequency band of your SIM card matches the frequency bands supported by the hotspot (B1/2/3/5/7/8/20/40). If there is no matching band, the device cannot connect.
  • APN Settings: If the machine band and SIM card band conform, but you still cannot connect, you may need to adjust the APN settings.
    1. Connect the hotspot to a computer.
    2. Access the device's configuration software or web interface.
    3. Check the device's APN settings.
    4. Contact your mobile operator to confirm the detailed APN data for your plan.
    5. If the settings do not match, modify them in the software. This typically resolves connectivity issues.

6.2 Device Not Powering On

  • Ensure the battery is correctly installed and charged.
  • Connect the device to a power source using the USB cable to check if it powers on while charging.
