1. Product Overview

These KYBOLT Running Boards are designed to provide enhanced vehicle access and additional protection for compatible trucks. Constructed from durable alloy steel with a matte powder-coated finish, they offer a stable stepping surface.

1.1 Compatibility

This product is custom-fit for the following vehicle models and configurations:

• 2009-2024 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab (Note: For 2019-2024 models, only compatible with the Classic body style).
• 2010-2024 Ram 2500/3500 Crew Cab.

Important: This product is designed exclusively for Crew Cab models. It is not compatible with Regular Cab or Extended Cab configurations.

1.2 Identifying Your Vehicle Style (Ram 1500)

For Ram 1500 owners, it is crucial to distinguish between the 'New Body Style' and 'Classic Style' for proper fitment. This product is only compatible with the Classic Style.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or product malfunction.

• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and gloves, during installation.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the parking brake engaged.
• If lifting the vehicle, use appropriate jack stands and ensure the vehicle is stable.

4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Installation Steps

4. Attach Running Boards: Carefully lift each running board and align it with the installed brackets. Secure the running board to the brackets using the remaining hardware. Ensure the running board is level and properly positioned.
5. Adjust and Tighten: Once both running boards are loosely attached, make any necessary adjustments to ensure they are straight and evenly spaced from the vehicle body. Once satisfied with the positioning, fully tighten all bolts and screws according to recommended torque specifications.
6. Final Check: Double-check all fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened. Test the stability of the running boards by applying moderate weight.

5. Operating Instructions

The running boards provide a convenient step for easier entry and exit from your truck, particularly for shorter individuals or those with mobility challenges. They also offer a degree of protection to the lower vehicle body.

• Step onto the running board firmly and centrally.
• Avoid placing excessive weight on the edges of the running board.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Loose Running Boards
