3. Product Overview & Features
3.1 Basic Performance
The TA60 tripod weighs 9.1 pounds and extends from 36 to 74 inches in height. It can support equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. The hydraulic fluid head allows for 360° horizontal rotation and automatic leveling of the tilt angle within a range of -70° to 90°. A bowl joint at the base of the head enables a 30° adjustment of the entire head for precise leveling on uneven surfaces.

3.2 Wide Range of Usage Environments
This professional fluid drag tripod features only two quick-release joints on each leg, facilitating quick setup. When tightened, the joints ensure exceptional stability. It is well-suited for supporting cameras with long telephoto lenses, large camcorders, and long-tube telescopes, performing effectively even in windy outdoor conditions.
3.3 Precision Gimbal with Smooth and Responsive Movement
The horizontal joint is filled with lubricating oil. Parts connecting the ball-shaped bowl and the gimbal ball are integrally cast and precision-machined on CNC machines, minimizing spherical error and ensuring even force distribution. This design allows for silky-smooth rotation with minimal effort.

3.4 Quick-Release Plate and Multifunctional Foot Pad
The mounting plate includes both 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch screws, ensuring high compatibility with a wide range of devices. The multifunctional foot pad combines a rubber pad and two-point ball pins, making it suitable for soft, sandy terrain and uneven surfaces.

The fluid head handle can be attached to either the left or right side of the fluid head for user preference. Secure it by tightening the thumb screw.
4.4 Mounting Your Camera
- Attach one of the quick-release plates to the bottom of your camera or device using the appropriate 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch screw. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Align the quick-release plate with the slot on the fluid head.
- Slide the plate into the fluid head until it clicks into place.
- Engage the plate lock mechanism to prevent accidental release.
4.5 Leveling the Tripod
Use the built-in bubble level indicator on the fluid head to ensure your setup is perfectly level. The bowl joint at the base allows for up to 30° of adjustment to compensate for uneven ground.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Height
To adjust the tripod's height, loosen the quick-release leg joints, extend or retract the leg sections, and then firmly re-tighten the joints. The central column can also be extended for additional height.
5.2 Using the Fluid Head for Panning and Tilting
The fluid head allows for smooth 360° horizontal panning and -70° to 90° vertical tilting. Loosen the respective locks for horizontal rotation and tilt. Use the handle to guide your camera smoothly. Tighten the locks once the desired position is achieved.
