6.2 Wiring Instructions
Refer to the wiring diagrams below for connecting the input control signal and the load. Ensure all connections are tight and insulated.

Figure 6.2: Comprehensive wiring diagrams illustrating connections for DC COM+ (Sink NPN), DC COM- (Source PNP), and AC input control signals. Each diagram shows the connection of the BLU ON, GRN OFF, YLW COM, RED, and BLK wires to the power source, control inputs, and the load.
- Input Control Wires:
- BLU ON: Connect to the positive control signal to turn the relay ON.
- GRN OFF: Connect to the positive control signal to turn the relay OFF.
- YLW COM: Common wire for the input control signal.
- Output Switch Wires (SPST):
- RED: One side of the SPST switch.
- BLK: The other side of the SPST switch.
- Load Connection: Connect your load (e.g., light, motor) in series with the RED and BLK wires and the power source for the load.
- Input Signal Types: The module supports AC, DC COM+ (Sink NPN), or DC COM- (Source PNP) input control signals. Ensure your control signal matches the module's requirements.
7. Operating Instructions
The OONO F-1060 is a latching relay, meaning it maintains its state (ON or OFF) until a new control signal is received, even if power to the control circuit is removed.
- Turning ON: Apply a momentary AC/DC 12V signal between the BLU ON wire and the YLW COM wire. The relay will switch to the ON state and remain ON.
- Turning OFF: Apply a momentary AC/DC 12V signal between the GRN OFF wire and the YLW COM wire. The relay will switch to the OFF state and remain OFF.
- Power-Off Memory: If the main power supply to the module is interrupted, the relay's last state (ON or OFF) will be preserved. When power is restored, the relay will resume its previous state without requiring a new control signal.
8. Maintenance
The OONO F-1060 relay module is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. However, periodic checks can help ensure its longevity and performance.
- Visual Inspection: Periodically inspect the module and its wiring for any signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion.
- Cleaning: If necessary, gently clean the exterior of the module with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent premature failure.
9. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OONO F-1060 relay module, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Relay does not switch ON/OFF | Incorrect wiring of control signals No control signal present Control signal voltage incorrect (not 12V) Faulty control switch/source | Verify wiring against diagrams (Figure 6.2). Check for presence of 12V AC/DC signal. Measure control signal voltage. Test control switch/source independently. |
| Load does not receive power when relay is ON | Incorrect load wiring Load power supply issue Overloaded relay contacts Faulty load | Check load wiring. Ensure power source for load is active. Verify load power supply. Ensure load current does not exceed 20A. Test load independently. |
| Relay does not maintain state after power cycle | This module is designed to maintain state. If it fails, the module may be faulty. | Contact customer support for assistance. |
| Module appears damaged | Physical impact Overvoltage/overcurrent | Disconnect power immediately. Do not attempt to repair. Contact customer support. |
