Setup
The KeenPower Super Capacitor Jump Starter does not require pre-charging. It charges itself from the vehicle's weak battery or another 12V power source. Ensure the clamps are clean and free of debris before connection.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to jump start your vehicle:
- Attach Clamps: Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery. The device will automatically detect the battery voltage.
- Auto Boost Charge: The jump starter will begin to draw a small amount of power from the weak battery to charge its internal supercapacitors. The display will show the charging progress. This process typically takes only a few minutes.
- Press Power Start Button: Once the supercapacitors are fully charged (indicated on the display), press the 'Power Start' button on the jump starter.
- Jump Start: Start your vehicle's engine. If the vehicle does not start on the first attempt, wait a few minutes and repeat the process.
- Disconnect: Once the vehicle has started, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, followed by the red positive (+) clamp.
