4. Getting Started
4.1 Charging the Jump Starter
Before first use, fully charge your Powrun Jump Starter.
- Connect the provided wall charger to the "Wall-Charge Input" port on the jump starter.
- Plug the wall charger into a standard AC power outlet.
- The LCD screen will display the charging progress. Charge until the screen shows 100%.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle (Standard Mode)
Follow these steps to safely jump start a vehicle with a dead battery.
- Ensure the jump starter is sufficiently charged (at least 50%).
- Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
- Connect the blue end of the smart jumper cables to the jump start output port on the Powrun unit.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a suitable unpainted metal part of the engine block/chassis.
- Ensure the smart cable indicator light is green, indicating a correct connection.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait 30 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds.
- Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the black (-) clamp first, then the red (+) clamp from the battery.
- Disconnect the smart jumper cables from the Powrun unit.
5.2 Manual Forced Jump Start Mode (BOOST Function)
Use the BOOST function only when the vehicle battery voltage is extremely low (below 9V) and the standard jump start procedure does not work.
- Follow steps 1-5 from "Jump Starting a Vehicle (Standard Mode)".
- If the smart cable indicator light is not green (e.g., red or off), press and hold the "BOOST" button on the smart cable for 3-5 seconds until the green light flashes.
- Within 30 seconds of the green light flashing, start the vehicle's engine.
- Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black (-) clamp first, then the red (+) clamp from the battery.
- Disconnect the smart jumper cables from the Powrun unit.
