2. Setup

2.1. Unboxing and Included Components

Upon opening the package, ensure all the following components are present:

• Charging Stand
• Charging Cable (USB-C)

2.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Place the main unit onto the charging stand. Connect the charging cable to the stand and then to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). Please use a 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB power adapter. Apple product charging cables, PD protocol adapters, and C-to-C charging cables are not compatible.

The non-contact charging design ensures that there is no charging port on the device itself, preventing water ingress during charging.

3. Operating Instructions

The ANLAN Royal Water Peeling Facial Device offers four main modes for a comprehensive skincare routine. Each mode is designed to be used for approximately 3-5 minutes and automatically turns off after 5 minutes.

3.1. Usage Steps (4-Step Routine)

1. STEP 1: SONIC (Ultrasonic Cleansing Mode)
   After washing your face, apply water or a suitable cleansing solution. Activate the SONIC mode. The device uses approximately 24,000 ultrasonic vibrations per second to gently remove dirt and impurities from the skin surface. Use for 3-5 minutes.
2. STEP 2: ION+ (Ion Cleansing Mode)
   With the skin still damp, switch to ION+ mode. This mode utilizes positive ions to deeply absorb and remove dirt from the skin's deeper layers. Use for 3-5 minutes.
3. STEP 3: ION- (Penetration Mode)
   Apply your preferred lotion or beauty serum. Activate ION- mode. Negative ions help to enhance the penetration of skincare products into the skin, maximizing their effectiveness. Use for 3-5 minutes.
4. STEP 4: EMS (Lift Care Mode)
   Apply a conductive gel or serum if desired. Activate EMS mode. Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) gently stimulates facial muscles, helping to firm and lift the skin. Use for 3-5 minutes.

3.2. Power Button Operation

The device features a touch-sensitive power button. Press and hold the button to turn the device ON or OFF. Short presses will cycle through the different modes.

4.1. Cleaning the Device

After each use, wipe the device head clean with a soft, damp cloth. While the device is IPX7 waterproof and can be rinsed, avoid exposing it to steam or fully submerging it for extended periods. Ensure the device is completely dry before storing or charging.

4.2. Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Do not store it in a bathroom or other excessively damp environments, as water vapor can still affect internal components despite the IPX7 rating.

5.1. Charging Issues

• Device not charging / Indicator light not on:
  Ensure you are using a compatible 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB power adapter. Apple product charging cables, PD protocol charging adapters, and C-to-C charging cables are not supported.
• Charging fails with dedicated USB-C cable and computer USB port:
  If the device does not charge when connected to a computer's USB port using the provided USB-C cable, the product may be defective. Please contact customer support.

5.2. Device Malfunctions

• Accidental mode changes or sudden power on/off:
  The touch-sensitive button may be highly responsive. Ensure your fingers are dry and clean when operating the button to avoid unintended actions.
• Water damage despite IPX7 rating:
  While IPX7 waterproof, the device is not resistant to water vapor. Avoid using or storing it in steamy environments like hot baths. Do not drop the device from heights (e.g., over 1.5 meters), as impacts can damage internal waterproof components.
